How to Join an Instant Lounge Search as a Coach

Joining an instant search lounge lets coaches quickly connect with learners looking for immediate guidance. You’ll see active learner searches and can step in to support them right away. Here’s how coaches join these sessions, why it matters, and different ways to do it.

Step 1: Look at the Home screen. When a learner starts searching, their session—such as a "ballerina session"—instantly appears here for coaches.

Step 2: Click Explore Lounge on your home screen to open the lounge screen with all active searches.

Step 3: Press Join beside the session you want to enter.

You’re now a member of the lounge. The learner can start a video call with you right away.

Join or Explore Lounges from the Community Screen

Step 1: Go to the Community screen.

Step 2: Spot the banner or section at the top showing the number of active learner sessions.

Step 3: Hit Explore Lounge to display all ongoing searches.

Step 4: Press Join next to an active session to jump in.

Another way to find sessions is by browsing your community list. If a learner’s card is marked as active, it means they’re searching.

Step 5: Select their card and press Join to enter the lounge and start a video call.

You'll see the number of users in a lounge (up to five at once). If the learner cancels their search, you’ll be notified the session’s no longer available. You can then explore new learners or begin your own instant search.

Instant lounges keep live coaching flexible and accessible. Try joining from your home or community screen to make the most meaningful, timely connections.
