Activities are real things happening near you: language cafés, walks, sports, volunteering and community events, run by local organisations. You already practise with real people on Taaly, by call and in live rooms. Activities is the step after that, where you use your new language face to face in your own neighbourhood. You will find them in your Feed, on the "Activities nearby" shelf and in the Activities tab. Browsing them is free and uses no Karma Coins.

It opens the organisation's own page, where you can read more and sign up with them directly. Taaly does not handle sign-ups, so tapping "I'm interested" does not put your name on any list and does not book you a place. Nothing is arranged until you do it with the organisation.

No. Taaly asks for your location one time, only to work out which municipality you are in. We save only the municipality, like "Almere". We never save your exact location. You can also skip that step and pick your municipality from a list, and you can change it any time from your profile.
