Start Connecting: How to Launch and Manage a Direct Search as a Coach

Looking for a quick way to connect with learners for a direct course? Here’s a step-by-step guide for coaches to start a search, invite learners, manage calls, and extend search times—all from within the platform’s intuitive interface.

Step 1: From the Home page, click Start Searching.

Step 2: Once your search begins, it’s automatically broadcast to learners.

Step 3: When a learner clicks Join, both of you appear in the Lounge area. Up to five learners can join a lounge at once.

Step 4: Click a learner in the lounge to view their profile or start a video call.

Step 5: If the learner declines your call, the search remains open with a visible timer.

Step 6: To extend your search time, click the extension option next to the timer. Choose to add 5 or 30 minutes to your search duration.

Step 7: The new, extended time displays in the lounge.

Step 8: Learners can explore active searches via the Explore option in the lounge.
