Joining an Instant Search Lounge as a Coach or Learner

Instant search lobbies, or "lounges," make it easy for coaches and learners to connect for immediate help. Here’s how to join an active lounge, whether you’re starting from your home screen or the community screen.

Step 1: Check your Home screen for notifications when a learner starts searching. New learner search sessions will show up here.

Step 2: Press Explore Lounge to see all active searches.

Step 3: Review the list of available sessions and press Join on the desired search.

You’ve now joined the lounge. The learner can start a video call with you right away.

Another way to join a lounge is through the community screen.

Step 1: Navigate to the Community screen.

Step 2: Look at the top section for any active learner sessions—these will be clearly marked if someone is searching.

Step 3: Press Explore Lounge to view the current active searches.

Step 4: Press Join on the session to enter the lounge.

You can also scroll through your community list. If a learner is actively searching, their card will be highlighted. Press Join to enter their lounge and start an immediate video call.

A single lounge holds up to five users, so several coaches or learners can participate at once. If the original searcher ends the session, you’ll see a notification that the search is no longer available. You’re then free to join another lounge or start your own instant search.

Starting or joining instant searches works smoothly from either your homepage or the community screen. This setup means you’ll never miss out on a chance to connect and help in real time.
