Open Taaly
Open the Taaly app and go to the Feed. There you see everything that is happening near you.
Pick your municipality
Pick your municipality and see activities close by. Everything is shown for your own municipality.
Tap “I’m interested”
Found something nice? Tap “I’m interested” and you go to the organisation’s own page.
Sign up with the organisation
Sign up with the organisation. They confirm your place, and you go to the activity. That simple.

Your activity in Taaly?
Language cafés, volunteer centres, sports clubs and community centres: get your activities in front of the newcomers in your municipality, in the app they already use every day. Taaly Meedoen is free for all municipalities for a limited period.
Your activities, found by newcomers
Newcomers see your activity in their Feed and sign up with you directly. Taaly does not sit in between.
Hours registered with a QR code
Does the municipality work with Taaly’s hour registration? Then participants scan your QR code and their participation hours are registered automatically.
Real-time insight for the municipality
Filled hours per organisation, participant and period, visible in the dashboard while the programme runs.
Frequently asked questions
Activities are real things happening near you: language cafés, walks, sports, volunteering and community events, run by local organisations. You already practise with real people on Taaly, by call and in live rooms. Activities is the step after that, where you use your new language face to face in your own neighbourhood. You will find them in your Feed, on the "Activities nearby" shelf and in the Activities tab.
It opens the organisation's own page, where you can read more and sign up with them directly. Taaly does not handle sign-ups, so tapping "I'm interested" does not put your name on any list and does not book you a place. Nothing is arranged until you do it with the organisation.
No. Taaly asks for your location one time, only to work out which municipality you are in. We save only the municipality, like "Almere". We never save your exact location. You can also skip that step and pick your municipality from a list, and you can change it any time from your profile.
