On Monday 28 September 2026, Shadi Alhakimi and Nour Alzaman introduced Taaly to the residents of COA The Hague, location SAT NO. They explained the app, helped residents with their first steps and handed out licences.

A valuable addition

For many participants Taaly is an addition to their journey in the Dutch language: a tool that supports where needed and fills in what is still missing. The app also helps them build a network they can expand later.

Learning at your own pace, participating in practice

With Taaly, residents learn Dutch at their own pace, step by step. At the same time they build a network of new contacts, so they do not just learn the language but use it. With the Meedoen activities we go one step further: residents practice their Dutch in real life, meet others and take part in daily life.

The time people spend waiting for the outcome of their procedure can feel long. We believe that time can be valuable: to learn, to connect and to prepare for integration. Thanks to the team at COA The Hague for the invitation and the organization.

Offer Taaly at your location too?
