Divosa names Taaly as an example of AI in civic integration: ‘learning a language remains human work’

Divosa, the Dutch association of municipal directors in the social domain, published a story on AI in civic integration. Taaly is named in it as one of the interesting AI initiatives for municipalities.
AI as a supplement, not a replacement
In the article a status-holder counsellor from the municipality of Nieuwkoop and volunteers from Alkmaar Taal Thuis describe how AI applications help integrators, from simplified letters to a chatbot to practise with. The common thread: AI helps, but human contact remains essential.
Taaly on the list
Divosa names Taaly as a language-learning platform that offers newcomers AI language buddies and AI-guided language coaching sessions, alongside practising with native speakers. That is exactly the combination Taaly builds on: the AI language coach to practise often, real taalcoaches for the conversation that matters.
